1. Who we are

This site and the AIMS platform are operated by Synapx Ltd ("Synapx", "we", "our", or "us"). This notice explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal data when individuals interact with AIMS.

The AIMS marketing site and the product platform may involve different processing activities; this page covers the marketing site at aims.delivery. Customer-specific processing on the platform itself is further governed by the applicable customer agreement and data processing terms. For privacy enquiries, email hello@synapx.com.

2. Information we collect

Site visitors. We may collect device, browser, and website usage information, referrer information, and approximate location information.

Prospective customers. If you use the request-access form, we may collect your name, company, job title, business email address, and any other information you submit through that form.

Platform users. Once an organisation signs up to AIMS, we may collect user account information, access credentials, usage information, security records, audit logs, and support communications. This is governed by the customer agreement under which the platform is used.

3. Cookies and local storage

This site does not set any tracking cookies. It may use localStorage to record analytics preferences, store your theme preference and improve your experience. Specifically, we store two entries: aims-analytics-consent, which records whether you accepted or declined analytics so we don't ask again on every visit, and aims-theme, which remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme. Neither leaves your browser or is read by any third party. Analytics remain disabled unless you enable them.

You control this from the consent banner shown on your first visit: choose Accept to enable Plausible, or Decline to keep it off. You can change your mind at any time by clearing your browser's site data for aims.delivery, which removes the stored preference and shows the banner again.

4. Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics. Plausible provides anonymised and aggregated website analytics and does not rely on tracking cookies or cross-site identification. It reports, in aggregate only, page views and referrers, approximate country (derived from IP address, never stored), device/browser/operating-system category, and anonymous interaction events such as which call to action was used. This information cannot reasonably be linked to an identifiable individual. See Plausible's data policy for full detail.

The site is hosted on Azure Static Web Apps and fonts are served from this domain only; outbound connections are limited to Plausible, and only after you accept analytics.

5. How we use personal data

We use personal data to:

• Operate and administer AIMS
• Respond to enquiries, including those submitted through the request-access form
• Provide customer support
• Improve our services
• Monitor security and performance
• Manage customer relationships
• Comply with legal obligations

6. Legal basis for processing

Depending on the circumstances, we rely on:

• Consent — for analytics and other activities requiring consent
• Performance of a contract — to provide services and respond to service requests
• Legitimate interests — to operate, secure, and improve the platform
• Legal obligations — to comply with applicable laws and regulations

7. International transfers

Personal data may be processed outside the United Kingdom and European Economic Area. Where this occurs, Synapx implements appropriate safeguards, including the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA), the UK Addendum to EU Standard Contractual Clauses, adequacy regulations, or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

8. Data retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for service provision, support, compliance, security, and audit purposes. Information is securely deleted when no longer required.

9. Security

Synapx implements technical and organisational measures including encryption, role-based access control, audit logging, access management, and security monitoring.

10. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@synapx.com.
